Open Wheel Racers Unite
With the annual Open Wheel year end awards banquet coming to a close, the racing community came together to honour their own and more importantly to help with much needed assistance for Travis Rutz and his family. After collecting donations and holding a auction of some great prizes, the local racers and their families help to raise just over $8,000 for this very important cause. Travis is a racer well known to many of us and it once again shows the true racing spirit as indivduals and companies all came together to help out. Congratulations to all of the year end champions for 2009 and lets keep Travis in our thoughts and prayers...
